Eco-Colonialism When powerful groups control nature in ways that harm others, especially Indigenous Peoples.
Equity Making sure everyone has what they need to thrive, even if it’s not the same for everyone.
Food Security When people always have safe and healthy food to eat. It includes access and availability to food, along with food literacy.
Fossil Fuels Coal, oil, and natural gas that come from ancient plants and animals.
Paris Agreement A 2015 treaty where almost all countries agreed to limit warming below 2°C.
Public Transportation Shared systems like buses or trains that reduce car use.
Recycling Turning used materials into new products instead of throwing them away..
Resilience The ability to recover from climate shocks and disasters.
Weather What’s happening in the sky right now - like sun, clouds, wind, rain, or snow.
